Russia has added 7 British defence industry executives to its list of people barred from entering the country in response to the United Kingdom’s military support for Ukraine.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry said the decision was taken in response to the United Kingdom’s "hostile anti-Russia policy" and its military aid to Kyiv.
Names included in the ban
The list includes Rotron Aerospace Chief Executive Alex Edward, the company’s chief military adviser Kev Oliver and board chairman George Zambellas.
Malloy Aeronautics Executive Director Neil Appleton, MGI Engineering Chief Executive Robert Michael Gascoyne, and Tekever UK Director and co-founder Paul Webb are also among those subjected to the entry ban.
BAE Systems Technology and Information Director Julian Frederick Charles Cracknell was also included among the executives affected by Russia’s decision.

Moscow’s allegations over defence supplies
Russia’s Foreign Ministry claimed that the people on the list were linked to British companies accused of supplying weapons and military technology to Ukraine.
The ministry said the equipment included systems allegedly used in attacks deep inside Russian territory.
Moscow also alleged that London had supplied Ukraine with missile and unmanned aerial vehicle systems, as well as technologies it claimed were intended to inflict "maximum damage" on Russia.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry also criticised the British government’s defence spending. The ministry argued that these resources could be used to support the civilian sector amid the country’s domestic economic and social problems.
The ministry said it would continue expanding the entry ban list in response to actions by the British government that it considers hostile.
