Türkiye's Tbilisi embassy marks Republic Day with Papuashvili
Türkiye's embassy in Georgia hosted a reception in Tbilisi for the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye. Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili attended the event.
A reception marking the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye was held in Tbilisi. Türkiye's Ambassador to Georgia, Mustafa Türker Arı, organized the event.
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili was the guest of honor at the reception, Türkiye's embassy said.
Ambassador Arı addressed the guests, while a video address by Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Turkish citizens living in different countries around the world was shown on screen.
That same day, October 29, a television tower in Tbilisi was illuminated in the colors of the Turkish flag. The 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States is taking place in Ankara on October 29–30.
