Students and lecturers from the Russian Language and Literature department of Istanbul's Okan University visited the Russian House in Ankara on Oct. 9.

Aleksandr Sotnichenko, head of Rossotrudnichestvo's office in Türkiye, gave the guests a tour of Ankara and its historical and cultural heritage.
In the evening, the group watched "Murder in the Eastern Dolmuş," staged to a full house by the Russian House’s experimental adult theater studio of amateur actors.

Studio head and director Maria Lazukova said the project combines Russian language learning with theater and brings the two countries’ cultural traditions together. The studio is now preparing an adaptation of Pushkin’s "The Queen of Spades."
