Baku opens exhibition from Çanakkale to Baku for Türkiye’s 103rd anniversary
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün and Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Coşkun Yılmaz attended the opening in Baku of the “Common Civilization Exhibition: From Çanakkale to Baku.”

The “Common Civilization Exhibition: From Çanakkale to Baku” has opened in Baku to mark the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
The exhibition was organized with the participation of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, the municipality and the district administration of Ezine. Türkiye’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün addressed the opening, while Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Coşkun Yılmaz also attended the ceremony.
The exhibition’s title refers to the shared history of the two peoples: Azerbaijanis fought in the 1915 Battle of Çanakkale, while the Caucasian Islamic Army liberated Baku in 1918.
Address at the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue
Turkish Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Coşkun Yılmaz also attended the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku, where he delivered an address. During the visit, he opened the "From Çanakkale to Baku: Exhibition of Shared Civilization" and paid a courtesy call on Turkish Ambassador Birol Akgün.
