ASELSAN becomes main sponsor of Defending Baltics 2026 in Vilnius

Turkish defense company ASELSAN was the main sponsor of the Defending Baltics 2026 defense industry conference and exhibition, held on October 26–27 in Vilnius. The Embassy of Türkiye in Lithuania met with company representatives.

Turkish defense company ASELSAN took part in the Defending Baltics 2026 defense industry conference and exhibition, held on October 26–27 in Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius. The company was represented by a large delegation and served as the event’s main sponsor.

Staff from the Embassy of Türkiye in Vilnius met with ASELSAN representatives at the company’s stand. The embassy noted that cooperation between Türkiye’s defense industry and the Baltic region had gained another example.

Close-range counter-drone defense

ASELSAN’s stand featured the Steel Dome layered air defense system and the DroneDef counter-drone protection system. Company representative Çağrı Dağıstan delivered a presentation on close-range counter-drone defense at the conference.

Lithuania, like the other Baltic countries, has increased its defense spending in recent years. Türkiye and Lithuania are NATO allies.
