Türkiye expects trilateral talks on Ukraine to resume as early as November and wants the negotiating process to continue without interruption, a source in the Turkish government told RIA Novosti.
“It is important for Türkiye that the negotiating process continues uninterrupted and that the parties retain the ability to discuss ways to resolve the conflict consistently,” the source said. The source added that Ankara is also closely monitoring U.S. initiatives on Ukraine and expects diplomatic efforts to produce concrete results.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin told U.S. President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff that Moscow was ready to resume talks in a trilateral format in mid-November. Presidential aide Yury Ushakov said the new round could take place in Abu Dhabi.
In 2025, Türkiye hosted direct talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul.
