Türkiye's stand serves baklava and ice cream at UN Day event in Ashgabat
Türkiye's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Şener Cebeci took part in the UN Day celebration in Ashgabat. Guests at the Turkish stand were served ice cream and baklava, while students from a Turkmen-Turkish school performed dances.
Türkiye's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Şener Cebeci took part on October 23 in an event marking United Nations Day, organized by the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan.
The celebration was held under the motto “UN for the people, UN with the Member States, UN through us.” Participants were briefed on the UN's work in Turkmenistan, and the importance of multilateral cooperation was emphasized.
Turkish cuisine and dances
Türkiye presented its own stand at the event. Guests were introduced to Turkish cuisine and treated to ice cream and baklava, while students from a Turkmen-Turkish school performed dances.
The Turkish stand was visited by Turkmenistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Mehri Bashimova and UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan Xiaojun Grace Wang.
