Türkiye's Embassy in Ukraine marked the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye in Kyiv. Turkish citizens, representatives of related Turkic peoples and Ukrainian friends of the country attended the reception.
“We marked the 103rd anniversary of the founding of our Republic with joy and gratitude,” the embassy said. The embassy is headed by Ambassador Fatma Ceren Yazgan.

The hall displayed photographs of meetings between Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, along with the words of Crimean Tatar intellectual Ismail Gaspıralı about “unity in language, thought and deeds.”
The reception was held ahead of Zelenskyy's visit to Istanbul. On October 31, the Ukrainian president will hold talks with Erdoğan at his invitation.
