Türkiye unveiled the official song of the UN climate conference COP31, which will take place in Antalya. COP31 President and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum presented a music video for the English-language song “Let’s COP,” with the call “One world, one call.”
The song calls for combating climate change and taking joint action for the future, as well as protecting the oceans, forests and future generations. The video showcases Türkiye’s natural and cultural beauty, including Antalya’s coastline, rivers, forests, mountains and ancient theaters.
The premiere took place in Istanbul
Kurum presented the song for the first time at a meeting with the chief editors of Turkish media outlets in Istanbul dedicated to preparations for the summit. He said the cultural program of COP31 was one of the initiatives that inspired him most and that the conference should also be communicated through the language of art.
Türkiye is hosting the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change for the first time. COP31 will take place in Antalya from November 9 to 20.
