The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) said it implemented 1,257 projects and activities in Kazakhstan from 1995 to 2026.
The projects cover education, healthcare, transport, agriculture and livestock, energy, as well as the development of administrative and civil infrastructure.
Türkiye-Kazakhstan cooperation expands
TİKA's statement came as Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was visiting Ankara: He was officially welcomed at the presidential complex on October 28, while the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States is being held in the Turkish capital on October 29–30.

Türkiye was the first country to recognize Kazakhstan's independence in 1991. The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Turkistan is one of the symbols of the cultural ties between the two countries.
