The Tekhnopolis Moskova Special Economic Zone in Moscow stands out not only for producing education technologies but also for shipping these products to markets outside Russia. On August 24, Maksim Likusov, Moscow’s deputy mayor responsible for transport and industry, announced that companies in the zone had increased production of high-tech equipment for kindergartens, schools, colleges and universities.
Companies in the zone produce interactive panels, digital laboratories, laser workbenches and educational kits. Likusov said these products are listed in the registers of Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and have been included in the Education Ministry’s official list for use in equipping schools across Russia.
Innovative products developed at Tekhnopolis Moskova are shipped to countries including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia.
Used in more than 120,000 classrooms across Russia
In July, Neks-T commissioned a robotic production line for liquid-crystal modules. These modules could later form the basis of interactive educational complexes and other equipment to be used in schools.
The company’s product portfolio includes more than 45 types of devices, including interactive panels, monitors, monoblock computers, interactive tables for children and projectors. Neks-T’s interactive complexes are used in more than 120,000 classrooms across Russia.
Educational kits shipped to more than 70 regions
The Scientific Entertainment company prepares educational kits to help students prepare for their final examinations. Its chemistry kit for ninth-grade students covers the entire curriculum.
Using the kit, students can carry out qualitative reactions to identify cations and anions, use indicators, and experiment with methods for separating mixtures and purifying substances. The kits also enable them to build functioning electrical circuits, measure the acceleration of free fall and test the law of conservation of energy.
The company’s products are shipped to educational institutions in more than 70 regions of Russia.
Laser equipment for colleges and universities
Lassard supplies colleges and universities with robotic cells as well as workbenches for laser cutting, welding, engraving and marking.
The company’s “Laser Classroom” solution includes personal protective equipment, measurement and control devices, consumables and application instructions. It has also developed a virtual simulator for training in laser cutting and engraving.
Students using the simulator learn to control laser power, workpiece processing speed and other operations.
