A new line will be built between Oboyan and Rudnik
The funding will be used to build and upgrade high-voltage lines and substations.
Under the plan, a new line will be built between the Oboyan substation in the Kursk region and the Rudnik substation in the Belgorod region. The Rudnik substation is also scheduled for reconstruction.
The government said the decision will create the necessary conditions to provide uninterrupted electricity to homes and apartment buildings, as well as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and outpatient clinics in the two border regions.
