A critical phase has been reached in a major project strengthening Moscow's transport infrastructure. Moscow Deputy Mayor Vladimir Efimov announced the start of a new stage in the launching operation for the overpass section crossing the railway lines, part of the connection between the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD) and Akademika Koroleva Street.
Efimov stated that the project includes the construction of a total of 7 kilometers of roads and three artificial structures. The most critical of these is the overpass that will cross the lines of the Third Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-3). At the construction site, two assembly platforms have been set up for each track on the Fonvizina Street side.

According to a statement from the city planning complex, the assembly and enlargement work on the metal structures is also ongoing. These activities are part of the preparations for the next launching stage of the overpass over the railway lines towards Akademika Koroleva Street.
Significant progress has also been made in other parts of the project. The construction of two ramps—one from Dmitrovskoye Shosse to Valaamskaya Street in the direction of the MSD, and the other from Valaamskaya Street to Milashenkova Street—is nearing completion. Additionally, two pedestrian overpasses are being built near buildings 12A and 12D on Milashenkova Street.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin had previously stated that construction of the connection between the MSD and Akademika Koroleva Street was ongoing.
