Armed brawl breaks out at leisure facility in Ufa, capital of Bashkortostan
A dispute at a holiday resort in Ufa escalated into an armed attack. Police stated that one person physically assaulted the other party and opened fire, launching an investigation.
An incident involving gunfire occurred at a leisure facility in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkortostan issued a statement regarding the brawl that took place at the holiday resort in the Kirov district.
The statement said that after arguing with a group of holidaymakers, one person physically harmed one of them and then opened fire on them. According to the police's preliminary investigation, the weapon used was an aerosol gas pistol.
A judicial investigation has been launched into the incident. Authorities announced that the investigation is ongoing and necessary procedures are continuing.
