14-year-old boy drowns in Moscow's Yujnoye Butovo pond
The body of a 14-year-old boy was found in a pond in Moscow's Yujnoye Butovo district. The prosecutor's office said the child entered the pond to swim and drowned.
The body of a 14-year-old boy was found in a pond in the Yujnoye Butovo district of Moscow. The Moscow Prosecutor's Office issued an official statement about the incident.
In a statement on the prosecutor's office's channel on the 'Maks' platform, it was noted that no signs of assault or violence were found on the body. The statement said: "The body of a 14-year-old boy was found in a pond in the Yujnoye Butovo area. There are no external signs of violence on the body."
Initial assessments suggest the child entered the pond to swim but was unable to exit the water and drowned.
The Zyuzino Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office is closely following the course and outcome of the investigation into the incident.
