Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the long-range strike plan against Russia yielded significant results this week. In a statement on his Telegram channel, Zelenskiy said that Ukrainian drones successfully hit targets in various regions of Russia.
The Ukrainian leader said, "Ukrainian drones reached as far as Siberia and struck the oil refinery in Omsk. This facility is about 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine. There is no longer any Russian refinery beyond the range of Ukrainian weapons."
Zelenskiy noted that these strikes were retaliation for Russia's attacks on Ukraine. The targets included oil facilities in the Saratov, Rostov, Tver, Stavropol, and Krasnodar regions, as well as in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
He also reported that an airfield in the Voronezh region and a strategic enterprise in Tver were hit, and that drone attacks were carried out on targets in the Moscow, Leningrad, and Bryansk regions.
The Ukrainian President added that Kyiv's "long-range sanctions plan" against Russia is being clearly implemented.
