Russia's Sever military group is producing modernized versions of the popular Vogon-15 drone. The group's unmanned systems technician Erjay stated that the heavy-lift "Vovochka" and the lighter "Marusya" models were developed according to front-line needs.
"The most popular drone is the Vogon-15. We make various interesting drones from them. For example, Vovochka lifts almost 50 percent more load than a normal Vogon. We tested a 10.5-kilogram load on it and it lifted it comfortably at medium throttle. "
The technician noted that they assemble modernized models on the universal Vogon platform, tailored to the unit's missions in specific sectors of the front. In this context, the "Marusya", a more miniature version of the Vovochka, was also produced.
"Marusya is like Vovochka but a smaller drone. It carries 4-5 kilograms. It can lift up to about 6 kilograms. "
The Sever group's workshop supplies all types of drones to the corps units. The workshop, which supplies up to 600 drones per day, operates 24 hours a day in three shifts.
