Greenland's prime minister claims Trump dropped annexation idea
Greenland's Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen suggested that US President Donald Trump has abandoned the idea of annexing his country. Nielsen stated that the US Special Representative for Greenland conveyed this information to them.

Speaking at the Aix-en-Provence Economic Forum in France, Nielsen stated that the US Special Representative for Greenland had conveyed this information to them three days ago.
Nielsen said, "Three days ago, the US Special Representative for Greenland told us that Donald Trump had given up on the idea of annexing Greenland. But the pressure is still here."
There has been no official confirmation from the US administration on the matter yet.
