Russian Defense Ministry strikes shipyard producing artillery boats in Kyiv
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it carried out an attack on the 'Kuznitsa na Rıbalskom' shipyard in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on the night of July 6. The ministry stated that the facility produces 58155 'Gyurza-M' project artillery boats and unmanned attack boats.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it carried out a large-scale attack on Ukraine's military industrial facilities. The operation was conducted on the night of July 6 against targets in and around Kyiv.
The ministry's statement said that the 'Kuznitsa na Rıbalskom' shipyard in Kyiv was struck. This shipyard is described as a machine engineering enterprise that produces 58155 'Gyurza-M' project artillery boats and carries out the production and repair of unmanned attack boats.
The ministry also stated that the attack targeted military airfield infrastructure in the Dnipro, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions.
The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized that the operation was 'large-scale'. Ukraine has not yet made an official statement regarding this attack.
