Ural goalkeeper Aleksandr Selikhov scored a rare goal in the 15th-round First League (PARI League) match against Chelyabinsk, played on October 25. With the score tied at 1-1, the goalkeeper took the free kick himself in the 87th minute and sent the ball into the top corner of the opponents' goal.
The hosts took the lead in the ninth minute through Ramazan Gadzhimuradov, while Furye equalized in the 71st minute. After Selikhov's strike, Italo made the final score 3-1 in Ural's favor in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
The coach's decision
Ural head coach Sergey Yuran said Selikhov's free kick had not been practiced as a set play but was the goalkeeper's own decision.

The closing stages were tense: Stezhko of Ural and Kochiyev of Chelyabinsk were shown red cards.
Selikhov played for Moscow club Spartak from 2017 to 2024 before joining Ural in 2025.
