Russia's Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova took action for a soldier whose leave had ended and who could not access planned treatment. In a statement on her channel on the Max platform, Lantratova said that the soldier had contacted her and informed her that there were no available places at the military hospital in Podolsk.
Following this, Lantratova requested intervention from the soldier's unit. The response received shortly was positive. Lantratova said, "The unit reported that the soldier was hospitalized, underwent surgery, and is currently receiving outpatient treatment at the Belgorod Military Hospital."
The Russian Human Rights Commissioner thanked her colleagues at the Russian Ministry of Defense, the relevant unit command, and the hospital medical staff for their support during the process.
