Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the allegations that Russia was involved in events in Europe were "absurd."
Peskov said the allegations were no longer taken seriously anywhere, adding that Europe also viewed accusations linking Russia to the unrest in the same way.
October 17 protests in France
Mass protests were held in the French capital, Paris, and other cities across the country on October 17. Demonstrations that began peacefully turned into incidents in some cities.
Dozens of people were detained during the protests. Allegations that Russia was linked to the events also came to the fore after the demonstrations.

Possible trilateral meeting between Russia, the United States and China
Peskov said they considered a trilateral meeting between Russia, the United States and China theoretically possible.
Peskov said it was not yet clear whether the meeting would take place or which issues could be discussed, adding that all three parties acknowledged that such a meeting was possible.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously said that the possibility of the leaders of Russia, China and the United States meeting at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit would depend largely on the host country.
Putin’s G20 attendance remains uncertain
Peskov said no decision had yet been made on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin would personally attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit, scheduled to take place on December 14-15 in Doral, Florida, at Trump National Doral Miami.
