Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan outlined his position on the future of Russia’s 102nd military base in Gyumri in parliament on Wednesday.
Pashinyan said they were ready to discuss the issue with Moscow if Russia wanted the base to remain in Armenia.
Stating that Armenia had never raised the issue of the withdrawal of Russia’s 102nd military base from the country, Pashinyan said they would not object if Russia decided to withdraw on its own.
Pashinyan also said the presence of the Russian military base in Armenia was not vital for the country.
