Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev suggested that the Strait of Hormuz has turned into a nuclear weapon for Iran and that this strategic waterway will be used. In a post on the social media platform 'Maks', Medvedev stated, 'It would be wrong to wait for a miracle, the Strait of Hormuz has truly turned into a Persian nuclear weapon.'
Assessment on US-Iran agreement
The Russian politician drew attention to what he described as an 'agreement' between the US and Iran. According to Medvedev, this agreement revealed that Tehran did not lose the war against Washington. He suggested that Israel will seek revenge because its expectation of the complete collapse of the Iranian regime was not met.
Harsh statements on the Ukraine war
Medvedev also addressed Ukraine's increasing attacks on Russian cities. Noting that the intensity of these attacks has increased and will continue to do so, Medvedev said, 'The time has come to clearly declare that there are no longer, and cannot be, any rules against the neo-Nazi Kyiv.'
The Russian official emphasized that the only acceptable limit is 'the deliberate destruction of the civilian population.' He claimed that everything else is permissible. Medvedev argued that the Hague Conventions on the Laws and Customs of War are also no longer valid because wars have changed so much over the last century.
Threatening statements towards Europe
Dmitry Medvedev said Russia will not build concentration camps for neo-Nazi-minded Europeans, because such camps would not be needed in a war with 'Dutch snot-noses.' He continued his harsh tone by saying, 'Radioactive bones and ashes are usually buried deep in the ground.'
