Governor: 91 Ukrainian attacks in 24h kill 2 in Belgorod, 195 drones downed
Acting Governor of Belgorod Region Aleksandr Shuvayev announced that Ukrainian forces' attacks over the past day killed two civilians and that Russian air defenses destroyed 195 drones.
Acting Governor of Belgorod Region Aleksandr Shuvayev reported that the Ukrainian army carried out intense attacks on the region in the past 24 hours. In a statement on his Telegram channel, Shuvayev noted that 91 separate strikes were conducted during this period.
Russian air defense systems and duty units responded to the attacks, downing or neutralizing 195 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The governor stated that the Ukrainian side used aviation and multiple rocket launcher systems twice each, and dropped explosives from drones four times.
The attacks affected a total of 15 districts, including the city center of Belgorod. Two civilians were killed in the Grayvoron district.
In the districts of Belgorod, Borisovka, Grayvoron, Rakitnoye and Shebekino, 13 people were wounded. Seven of the injured are being treated in hospital. The Ukrainian side has not yet issued a statement regarding these attacks.
