Average monthly pension in Russia exceeded 25,300 rubles in May
The average monthly pension for working and non-working retirees in Russia rose to 25,399 rubles as of May 2026. The highest average pension was recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug at 42,264 rubles.
The average monthly pension for working and non-working retirees in Russia was calculated at 25,399 rubles as of May 2026. This amount represents an increase of approximately two thousand rubles compared to the level a year earlier.
According to the data, the average monthly pension for working and non-working retirees in May 2025 was around 23,453 rubles. Thus, a significant annual increase in pension incomes was recorded.
The highest average monthly pension nationwide was seen in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. The average pension in the region reached 42,264 rubles.
