Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Oct. 15 received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku.
No details of the talks were released. A published photo shows Aliyev and Fidan talking in a meeting room.

Fidan is leading Türkiye’s delegation at the summit in place of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The same day he met Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and the Turkish delegation walked out during a speech by Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
