Three medical centers built by Turkish firm open in Ashgabat
Turkish Deputy Health Minister Nurullah Okumuş spoke at an international conference in Ashgabat, met Turkmenistan’s health minister and attended the opening of three medical centers built by Türkiye’s GAP İnşaat.
Turkish Deputy Health Minister Prof. Nurullah Okumuş visited Ashgabat to attend an international exhibition and conference on “Health, Education and Sport in the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State,” where he delivered a speech, the Turkish Embassy said.
During the visit, Okumuş held bilateral talks with Turkmenistan’s Minister of Health Myratberdi Gayypov.
Three centers by a Turkish company
Okumuş also attended the opening ceremonies of the International Oncology Center, the Oral and Dental Health Center and the International Pediatric Center, all built by Turkish company GAP İnşaat.
Turkish contractors have carried out many major projects in Turkmenistan, including in health care, which remains an important area of cooperation between the two countries.
