Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on October 15 concerning the strategy that sets out Ukraine’s national human rights policy.
The strategy document was published on Zelenskyy’s website along with the decree. The document identified LGBT people among the groups that may face a higher risk of rights violations or additional obstacles when exercising their rights.

The national strategy sets out the general framework for protecting human rights in Ukraine and includes a separate section on the rights of LGBT people.
