Dollar falls to 83.76 rubles in Russia on Friday
The Central Bank of Russia set the official exchange rates for Friday, October 15, 2026. The dollar fell to 83.76 rubles, the euro to 93.7693 rubles and the yuan to 12.4991 rubles.
The Central Bank of Russia announced the official exchange rates effective Friday, October 15, 2026, setting the dollar rate at 83.76 rubles. The dollar fell by 18.97 kopecks, while the euro rate declined by 15.36 kopecks to 93.7693 rubles.
The official yuan rate fell by 3.67 kopecks to 12.4991 rubles.
Official exchange rate calculation method
Since June 8, 2026, the Central Bank of Russia has calculated the euro-ruble exchange rate using two data points. These are the dollar-ruble exchange rate and the euro-dollar exchange rate published by the European Central Bank at 3:30 p.m. Moscow time on the current business day.
The dollar-ruble exchange rate is calculated using reporting data on the results of interbank conversion transactions carried out by banks in the over-the-counter foreign exchange market.
