Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko spoke on October 15 about the country’s fetal loss rate at the Russian State Duma’s meeting on the budget and taxes.
Murashko said that Russia’s fetal loss rate declines every year. The minister stated that new patient-monitoring methods provide more accurate diagnoses and said this development had contributed to the decline in question.

The Russian health minister also noted that indicators for reducing the mortality rate among children under 18 were at a good level.
