Putin calls for a stable regulatory framework for investment funds
Russian President Vladimir Putin called for regulatory rules governing investment funds to ensure the reliable protection of citizens’ investments. Putin made the remarks at the Delovaya Rossiya forum-congress on October 15.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said there is not yet a stable and established regulatory framework for investment funds and called for the necessary rules to be prepared in this area.
Speaking at the forum-congress of the nationwide public organization Delovaya Rossiya on October 15, Putin said that appropriate regulations for investment funds needed to be established.
Putin said, "As I understand it, the issue essentially concerns an investment fund or investment funds. We do not yet have a stable and established regulatory framework in this area, but of course we need to create one."
Putin said caution was needed when attracting funds from citizens and stressed the importance of ensuring that investments were reliably protected.
