Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine has reached its strongest battlefield position in years in the full-scale war.
The Ukrainian president said his country’s position could become even stronger if international partners maintain their support at a high level. Zelenskyy stressed that assistance, particularly in air defense, is important for preserving and strengthening Ukraine’s position on the battlefield.
Air defense support and diplomatic position
Zelenskyy said Ukraine could gain a stronger position not only on the battlefield but also diplomatically if the supply of Patriot systems and other air defense assets continues.
Statement on the Veles operation
Zelenskyy had previously provided information about the “Veles” special operation conducted by the 2nd Corps, known as Kharkiv, within Ukraine’s National Guard.
