Russian President Vladimir Putin said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy could come to Moscow for direct talks.
Putin made the remarks during phone calls with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre on Tuesday, October 27.
Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov said that all necessary conditions, including security arrangements, would be provided if Zelenskyy came to Moscow. Ushakov also said that Stubb and Støre had strongly expressed Zelenskyy’s desire to hold direct talks with Putin.

The Russian president said Russia’s interests must be fully taken into account to achieve lasting peace.
The agreement to hold negotiations between Moscow, Kyiv and Washington in Abu Dhabi in November was also welcomed during the phone calls. The Kremlin said the new round of negotiations could take place around November 10.
