U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with Newsmax’s Finnerty program that the United States gave Ukraine equipment and cash worth “hundreds, probably $350 billion.” “Where is the cash we gave Ukraine? Where is all that equipment?” he asked.
Trump also claimed that some of the weapons had been resold: “People were selling the equipment. Biden was sending them missiles, and after the missiles got to Ukraine, they were being sold on the open market.”

What the official figures say
The figure Trump cited is far above official data. Between 2022 and 2024, Congress approved five Ukraine aid packages totaling about $175 billion, covering military, financial and humanitarian assistance. Trump offered no evidence for his claim of widespread resale of U.S. weapons.
In the same interview, Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian refineries and called for elections in Ukraine.
