Five people were injured when a UAV struck the headquarters of Ukraine’s Security Service, known as the SBU, in Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the UAV belonged to Russia.
In a statement on Friday, Zelenskyy said he had spoken with SBU Head Oleksandr Poklad during the incident. He said emergency crews had been sent to the area and that the affected people would receive the necessary assistance.
The Ukrainian President said the UAV had directly targeted the SBU head’s office in the building. Zelenskyy said he had instructed Poklad to prepare an appropriate and concrete response to Russia once preparations were complete, adding that, if possible, the response would be similar in nature to the attack.
