Turkish-Uzbek science center for children and youth opens in Tashkent

The Bilim Tashkent science center, established by Türkiye’s T3 Foundation and Uzbekistan’s Agency for Youth Affairs, has opened in Tashkent. It is the 30th center in the foundation’s international network.

The Bilim Tashkent science center, established by Türkiye’s T3 Foundation in cooperation with Uzbekistan’s Agency for Youth Affairs, has opened at the Tashkent Youth Center. It is the 30th center in the foundation’s international network of science centers.

Türkiye’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ufuk Ulutas, Director of Uzbekistan’s Agency for Youth Affairs Alisher Sadullaev, T3 Foundation Chairman of the Board Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır and Tashkent Deputy Hokim Durdana Rahimova attended the opening ceremony.

The center offers workshops in mathematics, astronomy, space science and aviation, natural sciences, artificial intelligence and digital technologies, as well as a DENEYAP class and technology and production workshops for children and youth.

Hıdır said the number of applications from Uzbekistan for the TEKNOFEST technology festival has increased every year. Ambassador Ulutas expressed confidence that the center would lay the foundation for new joint projects between the two countries.
