Turkish envoy in Ashgabat accompanies lawmakers at women’s forum
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan Şener Cebeci accompanied four Turkish lawmakers attending a forum on women’s role in sustaining peace and achieving sustainable development.
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Şener Cebeci, accompanied members of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye who traveled to the country for the forum “The Role of Women in Sustaining Peace and Achieving Sustainable Development,” the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat said.
The delegation included Nevşehir lawmaker Filiz Kılıç, Sivas lawmaker Rukiye Toy, Aydın lawmaker Seda Sarıbaş and Istanbul lawmaker Şengül Karslı.
The forum brought together participants from various countries to discuss women’s contributions to peace and sustainable development. Türkiye and Turkmenistan also maintain close ties in inter-parliamentary cooperation.
