Rapper Andrey Menshikov, known by his stage name Ligalayz and designated a foreign agent in Russia, has been saddled with a debt of 730,000 rubles due to rising fines and enforcement proceedings.
A Moscow court last week fined Menshikov an additional 50,000 rubles, pushing his total debt even higher.
Menshikov's debt had recently surged past the 700,000-ruble mark. In September 2024, authorities were trying to collect around 200,000 rubles from the rapper, consisting of credit debts and fines imposed due to his foreign agent status.
There are currently six separate enforcement proceedings against the artist, with a total of 730,000 rubles being forcibly collected. The debts include credit loans, unpaid foreign agent fines, and tax arrears.
Since January 2024, a total of 11 enforcement proceedings have been initiated against Andrey Menshikov. Over this period, approximately 1 million rubles were sought to be collected from the rapper, including foreign agent fines, taxes, credit debts, and an enforcement order.
However, between September 2024 and November 2025, five enforcement proceedings were terminated because the artist's assets could not be located.
