Tajik President Rahmon, Iran's first VP Aref discuss joint production and trade
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref discussed boosting trade, joint production and cooperation within the SCO in Dushanbe on Oct. 19.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon received Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref at the Palace of the Nation in Dushanbe on Oct. 19. Increasing bilateral trade and developing joint production topped the agenda.
The two sides discussed expanding cooperation in transport, energy, industry and agriculture, with particular attention to health care and pharmaceuticals, as well as widening the range of products on each other's markets.
Aref was in Dushanbe to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Council of Heads of Government. Rahmon said Tajikistan values Iran's participation in the SCO.
