A supermarket in Ukraine’s Odesa region was partly destroyed in a Russian drone strike on Oct. 15. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack was carried out with a jet-powered Shahed and that cars were also damaged.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, a large fire broke out in the supermarket after the hit, and four people were injured. Odesa regional military administration head Oleh Kiper confirmed that the supermarket was partly destroyed and four people were hurt.

Work halted by repeated alerts
More than 30 firefighters were deployed to put out the blaze. They repeatedly had to pause work and take shelter because of renewed air raid alerts.
The Odesa region has been hit frequently in recent months; large retail centers and food chain warehouses were struck in August and September.
