Russia's Ambassador to Denmark, Vladimir Barbin, rejected at Denmark's Foreign Ministry the accusations against Moscow over the drone incident at Leipzig Airport.
As the incident's political and diplomatic repercussions in Germany continued, Leipzig police said that on August 5, a drone reportedly carrying explosives was found in a security area at the airport used for cargo transport.
Germany held Russia responsible for the incident but presented no concrete evidence for the accusations. Moscow described what happened as a hastily orchestrated provocation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Germany had no evidence of threats originating from Russia. Putin also linked the accusations over the Leipzig drone incident to Germany's severe domestic political situation.
