Russian State Duma Chairman Volodin Visits Brest, Belarus for Working Trip

Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin made a working visit to the city of Brest in western Belarus. Volodin was welcomed at the airport by Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus Igor Sergeenko and Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov.

To Attend Union State Forum

In Brest, Volodin is scheduled to participate in the proceedings of the Union State International Forum titled "Great Heritage – Common Future." The forum's general assembly meeting will be held on June 22.

Parliamentary Assembly Agenda

Additionally, on Sunday, the 70th Session of the Belarus-Russia Union State Parliamentary Assembly will be held under Volodin's chairmanship. The session's agenda includes discussion of a declaration on the genocide of the Soviet people during the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War.
