Russia’s Ministry of Labor clarified the conditions for the annual payment for families with two or more children. The ministry announced that changing jobs does not affect the right to this payment.
The ministry said on its ‘Max’ platform: ‘If you change your job, your right to the annual family payment is preserved. Having worked at another company in 2025 does not prevent you from receiving this payment.’
Applications can be submitted even if a new job has not been found at the time of application, the ministry noted. The key requirement is having earned an official income and paid income tax on it in the previous year.
The payment amount is calculated as 6 percent of the income tax deducted from salary in the previous year. The resulting difference is paid to parents as a one-time sum by the Social Fund.
To qualify for this annual family payment, employed parents with two or more children must have an average per capita family income of less than 1.5 times the per capita subsistence minimum, and their property must meet the set criteria.
