Russia claims it downed 165 Ukrainian drones in Bryansk
Bryansk region acting governor Yegor Kovalchuk announced that 165 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight. He said air defense units and special forces took part in the operation.
Yegor Kovalchuk, the acting governor of Russia's Bryansk region, announced that 165 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the region's skies.
In a statement on his Max platform channel, Kovalchuk said, "Over the past day, 165 enemy aircraft-type drones were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region."
He added that the destruction operation involved air defense units of the Russian Defense Ministry, mobile fire groups of the BARS-Bryansk brigade, mobile groups of the Bryansk transport unit of the Russian Interior Ministry, and special units of the Russian Guard.
