Vladimir Rogov opposed Kaja Kallas’ call for European Union countries not to recognize the results of Russia’s State Duma elections. Rogov, who heads the Russian Civic Chamber’s commission on supporting citizens and developing public diplomacy, described Kallas’ remarks as Russophobic and stupid.
Kallas had previously sent an appeal to EU countries calling on them not to recognize the election results.
Rogov argued that the actions carried out in Russia complied with the law. He said European officials, as in Kallas’ case, failed to recognize the law.
Rogov also claimed that European officials were accustomed to pursuing their goals through deception and hypocrisy.
