Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski made serious allegations targeting Russia at a joint press conference with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot in Warsaw. Sikorski stated that Moscow is preparing a provocation in Poland.
The Polish Foreign Minister said, "Russia is waging a hybrid war against Poland and France." According to Sikorski, Russia is targeting critical infrastructure, carrying out arson and sabotage on railways, and also sending assassination squads to kill Putin opponents.
Speaking in response to a journalist's question, Sikorski said, "We have credible information that the Russians are planning something. By openly declaring that we know this, we want to effectively deter them from such attempts."
Sikorski recalled that before the start of the conflict in Ukraine, Moscow had also planned provocations to justify the attack. The Polish minister said, "At that time, American intelligence services warned about this, and that made Russia give up on carrying out those provocations."
Touching on Polish-French relations at the meeting, Sikorski stressed that the two countries want to deepen their dialogue. He stated that they are cooperating within the framework of the "Volunteer Coalition," and announced that this coalition will announce important decisions in Paris on July 13.
