Kremlin spokesperson Peskov said Moscow considers the acceptance of realities on the ground and the demonstration of political will for a peaceful solution to be a priority, rather than focusing on who makes up the government in Ukraine.
Peskov calls on Zelenskyy to make difficult decisions
Peskov said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy must make extremely important and difficult decisions to end the war. He said Zelenskyy could take responsibility and demonstrate the necessary political will, or choose not to do so.

The Kremlin spokesperson also recalled that U.S. President Donald Trump had said he believed the time had come for a new president to take office in Ukraine.
Trump expressed this view on October 10. Zelenskyy said on October 11 that Ukraine was ready to hold a presidential election if Russia agreed to a full 60-day ceasefire.
Facilities targeted by the Russian army
Peskov claimed that Ukraine’s offensive capabilities were declining day by day, adding that the Russian army was targeting facilities where missile and unmanned aerial vehicle components were stored, as well as centers where those components were assembled and produced.

Peskov claimed that the attacks had reduced the offensive capabilities of the authorities in Kyiv.
