The decision to keep Tina Romanova in detention was upheld after the Moscow City Court rejected her appeal. The court ruled that Romanova should remain detained until August 28, 2026.
The ruling left unchanged the detention order previously issued by the Meshchansky District Court. Romanova is accused of illegally producing and distributing pornographic material as part of a group using the internet.
The charge against Romanova is being pursued under Paragraph 3 of Article 242 of the Russian Criminal Code. If convicted, she could face up to six years in prison.
