Estimates for maternity capital amounts in 2027 are taking shape in a process where inflation data will be decisive. State Duma deputy Aleksey Govyrin, in a statement to RIA Novosti, said that the projected amount for the first child could rise to around 767,000 rubles.
Govyrin said that they used a coefficient of around 5.2% in their calculations, and with this rate the first-child capital would reach the 767,000 ruble range. The deputy noted that if the family had already received maternity capital for the first child, the additional payment for the second child would be approximately 247,000 rubles.
Govyrin added that for families who have never received maternity capital, the maximum amount for the second child approaches 1,013,000 rubles, and that the final figures will be determined by a government decision after the 2026 inflation data is released.
